Brooklyn Nine-Nine Debuts Halloween Episode and is Ordered for Full Season

FOX has announced Brooklyn Nine-Nine will produce a full 22-episode season after ordering an additional nine episodes. The show has been such a huge success that FOX also plans on airing it directly after Super Bowl XLVIII on Sunday, February 2, 2014 in a special comedy hour.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine stars Andy Samberg, Terry Crews and Andre Braugher as a group of very different police officers who often find themselves in very comedic situations despite the stressful nature of the job. The show debuted its first Halloween episode this week, though some members of the team weren't as excited to be celebrating the holiday as others. “It’s exciting to see that both critics and fans love Brooklyn Nine-Nine as much as we do,” said Chairman of Entertainment at FOX, Kevin Reilly. “With Andy (Samberg) and Andre (Braugher) out in front of this incredible ensemble, it feels like this show is going to be around for a long time.”
