Charles Schulz's Peanuts Bringing Special Edition Content to IDW
Charles Schulz is a well-known artist whose work with the Peanuts comic series has become one of the most iconic works in the world, and IDW has announced all new Artist's Edition content is incoming from the publisher. The famous comic strip had a long run from 1950 to 2000 and followed events in the life of Charlie Brown and his friends and family. The comic was written and drawn by Schulz and was later translated to over 20 different languages and featured in over 2,600 different newspaper publications. Charles Schulz spent the majority of his career writing and drawing the Peanuts comic strip and was the recipient of numerous awards and citations throughout his life for his influential work. Schulz is “arguably the most influential comic strip creator of the second-half of the 20th century, his importance to comics and comics history cannot be understated,” said editor Scott Dunbier. As Editor of the Artist’s Editions, Dunbier, along with the rest of IDW, are honored to publish the timeless creations of Charles Schulz.
