CI Games' Alien Rage Takes Over XBLA Today

CI Games has announced that Alien Rage (read review) is now available for purchase on Xbox 360 via XBLA for $14.99. PS3 users will be able to pick up the game next week on October 22. Alien Rage is an over-the-top shooter that has you facing off against hordes of nasty aliens. Read on.

CI Games, a fast-growing international developer and publisher of interactive entertainment, is releasing Alien Rage today, an over-the-top, challenging, sci-fi shooter on Xbox Live Arcade for Xbox 360 for the price of $14.99. Alien Rage will also be released on the PlayStation Network for PlayStation 3 next week on October 22nd in North America and on October 23rd in other regions for $14.99. A PC version, Alien Rage: Unlimited, is also available through Steam for $19.99 and features an online multiplayer mode. Alien Rage is rated M for Mature by the Entertainment Software Ratings Board.

Alien Rage is an action-packed, hard-core first-person shooter that will have players facing off against armies of the nastiest alien forces ever encountered. Players will battle beastly-sized bosses relentlessly attacking from every direction, hell-bent on taking players down. Tons of powerful dual-mode weapons, 14 intense levels, massive shootouts, destructible environments and over-the-top fast- paced gameplay will push players' FPS skills to the limit while challenging them to replay levels again and again in order to rack up higher scores.

 Alien Rage is powered by a visually intense graphics engine that game enthusiast site ZTGD.com called "pretty damn impressive." For gamers on a budget, the title is "well worth the price for a fully fleshed out alien beat-down," according to GamingIllustrated.com.
