Rockstar Games has released a new patch for their online title, Grand Theft Auto Online. The patch corrects several known bugs and issues with the game including the deletion of online progress or the complete wipe of characters in some instances. Rockstar noted that the best way to prevent the character deletion problem from occurring is to make sure to quit out of online play to the single player campaign to ensure a save happens, and the developer also stated that there are a few glitches that remain in the game including the cloud not saving data when a player purchases a new car online in some rare instances.
A post on the Rockstar Games Newswire discusses several of the other fixes that have been included in the patch such as looping loading screens, glitched missions that can't be replayed, races ending prematurely because of bad spawn points, adding notifications for Rockstar Cloud server outages, glitched buildings that cause players to become stuck inside and more. You can read on for more details on the fix and check out our Grand Theft Auto Online Review for continued updates on the new game.
