Grand Theft Auto V Tops Most Played Games on Xbox LIVE for Second Straight Week

Microsoft and Xbox LIVE's Major Nelson has revealed the most played games on Xbox LIVE for the week of September 30, 2013, and Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto V has topped the most played chart for the second straight week. Other games that make the top five include the recently released Battlefield 4 Beta. Meanwhile, Terraria topped the most full versions of Xbox LIVE Arcade titles.


Grand Theft Auto V is obviously one of the most popular games on any platform, and its numbers are likely boosted by the recently released Grand Theft Auto Online despite a rocky start. Grand Theft Auto V is Rockstar's newest hit that has broken several records during its first few weeks after launch, and the game features three new protagonists for the series for the first time ever as well as a deep online multiplayer experience that can be downloaded and played for free.
