New Details Emerge for the World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Beta

The World of Tanks: Xbox 360 beta will begin this weekend and contain a slew of special programs to give players new tanks, gold and a 5x experience boost. Players can register for the Beta program now and an Xbox Live Gold account is required to participate in the program. Read on to learn more.

Beta Details:

  • From 4:00 PM PDT to 9:00 PM PDT on Saturday, October 12th and Sunday, October 13th, all players who log in to the game and complete 50 matches will receive a M22 Locust Tier III premium tank in their garage when the game launches.
  • Also from 4:00 PM PDT to 9:00 PM PDT on Saturday, October 12th and Sunday, October 13th, if the game reaches a participation milestone of 10,000 simultaneous online players, all players who log in and play during those times will receive a Ram II Tier V premium tank in their garage when the game launches.
  • Plus, all day Saturday, October 12th and Sunday, October 13th, all players in the beta will receive a 5x experience bonus for the first win on each tank they own and will be able to visit the in-game store and make a one-time, $0 purchase, of 2,500 gold for use during the beta.
