New Video Explains Xbox One Cloud Compute and Other Enhanced Features Coming to the Console

Microsoft has released a new video featuring Graeme Boyd from Xbox LIVE and Director of Product Planning for Xbox One, Albert Penello. The new video takes a look at the many new features coming to Xbox One including greater integration of Xbox SmartGlass technology between Xbox One and mobile devices, the power of the new Kinect and how it will change gaming and how Xbox One will use the power of the cloud and hundreds of thousands of dedicated Microsoft servers around the world to allow developers to create the best looking and most intuitive experiences for gamers ever.

The new cloud compatibility will allow developers to place more content in their games without being limited to what the console on its own is capable of achieving, while gamers will be able to use the new technology to have access to their games and player profiles wherever they go and to run multiple programs, apps and other software without suffering performance issues. Xbox SmartGlass will be incorporated into many games in the future, and the video highlights Ryse: Son of Rome as a game that allows interaction with the game while away from the console and Dead Rising 3 as a game that allows players to manage missions, maps, waypoints and more from mobile devices. The video also shows off the power of the new Kinect and how it recognizes every player in the room with separate profiles for each. Check out the informative new video below to learn more.
