Nintendo Download Highlights for the Week of 9/30-10/6

Nintendo fans get a ton of great content this week which include The IndieCade Festival taking place now and such new titles as TNT Racers, Family Bowling 3D, Halloween: Trick or Treat 2, Happy Circus and many more. Fans can also reap 50% off some great titles which include the Final Fight series and Little Inferno. Read on to learn more.

Nintendo eShop on Wii U

Just Dance 2014 – The party is back! Just Dance 2014 is bringing new moves to more than 40 of today’s hottest tracks and legendary hits. Take the fun to another level by playing with anyone in the world, leading back-up dancers or using the Wii U GamePad controller to dish out the next move to up to four other players. Just Dance 2014 is available on Oct. 8.

Nintendo eShop on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS

IndieCade – The IndieCade Festival, happening in Los Angeles on Oct. 3 through Oct. 6, is the largest U.S. game celebration to encourage, cultivate and publicize the independent gaming sector. Find out which creative and innovative games will appear in the Nintendo booth.

Nintendo eShop Sales

  • Final Fight Promo – Starting today, buy Final Fight, Final Fight 2 or Final Fight 3 in the Nintendo eShop on Wii U and get 50 percent off the purchase of another fighting game, like Street Fighter II’ Turbo: Hyper Fighting and other selected games. This offer is good until 9 a.m. on Oct. 10.
  • Little Inferno – Burn flaming logs, screaming robots, credit cards, batteries, exploding fish, unstable nuclear devices and tiny galaxies in an adventure that takes place almost entirely in front of a fireplace. Starting Oct. 3, download Little Inferno in the Nintendo eShop on Wii U at 50 percent off until 9 a.m. PT on Oct. 9.

In addition to video games available at retail stores, Nintendo also offers a variety of content that people can download directly to their systems. Nintendo adds new titles weekly to the Nintendo eShop for the Wii U system as well as the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL systems, to the Nintendo DSi™ Shop for the Nintendo DSi system and to the Wii™ Shop Channel for the Wii console.

The Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service and features games, applications and videos. Users can add money to their account balance by using a credit card or by purchasing a Nintendo Prepaid Card at a retail store and entering the code from the card. All funds from one card must be redeemed in either the Wii U eShop or the Nintendo 3DS eShop, respectively. They are not transferable and cannot be divided between the two systems.

The Wii Shop Channel offers games and applications and uses Wii Points, which can be purchased via the Wii Shop Channel. The Nintendo DSi Shop offers games and applications and uses Nintendo DSi Points, which can be purchased in the Nintendo DSi Shop. A Wii Points Card and Nintendo DSi Points Card can be purchased at retail locations. All points from one card must be redeemed in either the Wii Shop Channel or the Nintendo DSi Shop, respectively. They are not transferable and cannot be divided between the two systems.

Remember that Wii U, Wii, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3DS XL and Nintendo DSi feature parental controls that let adults manage some of the content their children can access.
