Plants vs. Zombies 2 Invades Google Play

Developer PopCap and publisher EA have announced the release of the free-to-play title, Plants vs. Zombies 2, on Google Play for Android. The new release is already a global success for other mobile devices, and players can experience an all new storyline for the franchise that includes new plants, new zombies and plenty of new levels as players explore various levels throughout time. Players also have access to plenty of different features for the series that includes new items to make plants more powerful and all new controls used to create unique in-game objectives. Key features of Plants vs. Zombies 2 include:
  • Three all-new worlds to explore, with more worlds coming soon
  • More than 60 levels at launch, with dozens more coming in future worlds
  • Dozens of new plants and zombies, each with unique powers and behaviors
  • Plant food to supercharge your floral defenses
  • Touch-screen power-ups that let you pinch, flick and zap zombies directly
  • Side missions, mini-games and other brain-teasing challenges in every world
  • Challenge Zones at the end of each world that provide never-ending quests for glory
