Have you always wanted to drive the fake trains in GTAV? Try driving some real trains in real Southern California! We’re pleased to let you know that the Pacific Surfliner® LA – San Diego Route for RailSimulator.com’s Train Simulator video game is now available. This new content suite, laying open the famous, 128-mile stretch of beautiful California track connecting Los Angeles Union Station to San Diego’s historic Santa Fe Depot, is available as both a DLC expansion to the core Train Simulator package, as well as a standalone product which can be played entirely without purchase of Train Simulator.
Featuring a 3,200 horsepower, diesel-fueled EMD F59PHI locomotive, Amtrak Surfliner double-decker coaches, a rear cab driving car and new scenarios, the Pacific Surfliner lets aspiring conductors cruise across the gracefully sloping hillsides and pristine, scenic coastline of SoCal, passing by Angel Stadium of Anaheim, Oceanside Pier, serene beach villages and bustling urban cityscapes. It comes just weeks after the release of Train Simulator 2014, which introduces a variety of graphical and interface improvements to the core gameplay experience, including a redesigned career system, performance updates and newly refined creation tools. Players who purchase Pacific Surfliner® as a standalone product will have access to the same upgrades and innovations offered in Train Simulator.
The Pacific Surfliner LA – San Diego Route is out now on Steam for $39.99. The complete edition of Train Simulator 2014 is also available on Steam.
