Webzen Announces Lineup of Halloween Events for MU Online

Webzen has announced a full lineup of haunting events for MU ONLINE. Players will be able to attend a special Trick or Treat event where they can visit various MMO sites to collect candy codes to redeem for in-game prizes starting October 18. This is just the beginning of Halloween fun in MU Online, read on to learn more!



October MU Online Events

WHAT: MU Trick or Treat Event


START DATE: October 18, 2013 at 11:00 am (GST)

END DATE: November 1, 2013 at 5:00 pm (GST)

DETAILS: MU ONLINE is teaming up with various MMO sites to host a spooktacular Trick or Treat Event for All Hallow’s Eve, otherwise known to mere mortals as “Halloween.” Starting October 18, players can visit WEBZEN’s media partners to receive a special treat – a candy code that will unlock in-game rewards. Citizens of MU can trick-or-treat at different sites in order to collect all five candy codes (Chocolate, Lollipop, Bubblegum, Jawbreaker and Taffy). Once they’ve gathered all five sweets, they can redeem them for FREE in-game items by visiting the MU ONLINE Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/MUWEBZEN. (Only one set of rewards per account. Players must have all five codes in order to qualify). No costume required!

WHAT: Haunted Halloween Hunt

START DATE: October 23, 2013 after maintenance (GST)

END DATE: November 6, 2013 before maintenance (GST)

DETAILS: Blood-thirsty monsters lurk the dark corners of MU during the month of October. Those who are courageous enough to defeat two of the game’s frightening creatures (the WereRabbit and Fire Flame Ghost) will be rewarded with Jewels, Zen or Excellent Grade items. In addition, players can hunt any monsters that are Level 68 and above to collect pumpkins. These ghoulish gourds can be redeemed for scrolls, sustenance or a rare transformation ring that will change their characters into the hellish Jack-O-Lantern Monster. Track down these elusive creatures before they vanish into the night on November 6!

WHAT: Facebook EXP Event

START DATE: October 3, 2013 at 11:00 am (GST)

END DATE: October 14, 2013 at 5:00 pm (GST)

DETAILS: The Return of the Golden Colossus was a big hit! To celebrate the event’s success, WEBZEN is offering players the chance to earn a special EXP Boost. From October 3-14, players are encouraged to share a photo from the Golden Colossus Event with their friends on Facebook. An EXP boost of up to 200% will be released according to how many shares the image receives by the end of the event period.

WHAT: MU Roomy – Back By Popular Demand!

WHEN: Now through October 9, 2013 before maintenance (GST)

DETAILS: For a limited time, WEBZEN is bringing back everyone’s favorite mini-card game, MU Roomy! To participate, players must collect MU Roomy Cards by killing in-game monsters. Once they have completed a full deck of 24 Cards, they will unlock a mini-game where they can earn points to win Zen, Jewels and other exciting items. Each week, the Top 10 MU Roomy Players with the most points will be rewarded with additional prizes, such as the Pendant of Ice, Ring of Ice, or Random Seed Sphere.
