Call of Duty: Ghosts Starts Launch Double XP Weekend On November 8

Activision has announced the Launch Double XP Weekend for Call of Duty: Ghosts (read review). The event will start on November 8th and end on November 11th. All you have to do to rack up the double XP points is to buy your copy of the game before it starts tomorrow. Read on to learn more.

To celebrate the launch of Call of Duty: Ghosts, we're turning on our Launch Double XP Weekend tomorrow. From Friday, November 8th (10am/PST) through Monday, November 11th (10am/PST), players on all platforms will earn twice the amount of XP on all of their Multiplayer actions.

Also, for players thinking about upgrading to the next-gen platforms, they can play now and upgrade later. All of their Multiplayer XP, stats and achievements earned on current-gen Call of Duty: Ghosts will follow them to the next-gen when they upgrade within console family. Call of Duty: Ghosts is now available for preorder for the MSRP of $59.99 and is scheduled to release for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC and next generation consoles on November 5, 2013.
