CGF Announces New Update for Infinite Scuba

Cascade Game Foundry has announced an update for Infinite Scuba which is a simulation diving game. The update will allow players to post in-game photos and postcards to their Facebook pages and also buy new dive gear while in the game. Are you ready for a realistic scuba diving experience? Read on.

From the Press Release
Cascade Game Foundry (CGF) announces an exciting update to their simulation diving video game, Infinite Scuba®. Players can now post in-game photos and postcards on Facebook and purchase new dive gear from inside the game. Infinite Scuba gives players ages 8 and up the thrills, mysteries and beauty of the Earth's oceans. Players do what real divers do - explore dive sites, identify wildlife, take photos, and find artifacts, while learning about history and dive science.

CGF launched Infinite Scuba in March and continually releases new activities and content for the game. With the latest update, players can post the photos and postcards they create in the game on Facebook to share the adventure of their dives with friends. Players can also purchase new wetsuits, fins, masks, air tanks, and other branded dive gear to customize their diver avatar.

Infinite Scuba's first dive site is the shipwreck of the Gosei Maru, a real Japanese freighter that was sunk in Micronesia during World War II. Players exploring the submerged wreckage are weightless in an unknown environment with limited air and surrounded by unpredictable wildlife.

"Our goal with Infinite Scuba is to enable people to explore the ocean from home, learn about its wonders and be inspired to explore more," says Kathie Flood, Managing Director and co-founder of Cascade Game Foundry. "This game is Indiana-Jones-meets-Jacques Cousteau: wildly fun, mysterious, and enlightening."

To ensure that Infinite Scuba provides an authentic diving experience, Cascade Game Foundry works with more than 20 manufacturers to recreate their brands and equipment in the game. Brands include SCUBAPRO®, Body Glove, BARE, Oceanic, Cressi, SeaLife, Underwater Kinetics, Henderson, SUBGEAR®, and XS Scuba. The company also works closely with the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) and Mission Blue, Dr. Sylvia Earle's nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and raising awareness about critical ocean and marine life issues.

A demo version of Infinite Scuba is part of the Sea Monsters Revealed: Aquatic Bodies exhibit, currently showing at the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta. Sea Monsters was created by BASE Entertainment, the creators of the well-known Bodies exhibit.

Infinite Scuba was recognized as the Best of DEMA Show 2012 and was a finalist in the 2013 Seattle Independent Game Competition. Cascade Game Foundry is a 2013 Participant in the Washington Interactive Network's Reactor Accelerator.

Infinite Scuba is available now for Windows and Mac download at https://www.infinitescuba.com
