Playing With Fear Aims To Dissect The World of Horror Video Games

A new feature documentary "Playing With Fear" has launched a new Kickstarter to fund the project that will explore some of the scariest horror video games such as Silent Hill franchise with interviews, developer profiles and much more. Are you interested in learning more? Read on.


About Playing With Fear
Playing With Fear is an independent exploration of the relentlessly creative world of horror video games. The project will shine a light on the stories behind the enduring classics, the ingenuity of the new harbingers of our digital nightmares, and the speed of technological innovation nurturing the global renaissance of interactive horror.

If funded (the campaign ends on Nov 30th), this ambitious project will feature interviews and profiles of horror game developers from eight countries, and will study the art, soundscapes, influences, mechanics, and community of horror gaming. It aims to uncover the secrets and inspirations of the most terrifying games and the people who create them.
