The survey results reveal interesting data: how many gamers plan to purchase the new consoles, what they will use them for, and how they really feel about the next-gen launches.
Survey highlights include:
- 59% of next-gen system owners plan to use their console for streaming video, and 22% for live TV.
- Sony gamers are more likely to be loyal to the brand: 76% of current PS3 owners plan to buy a PS4, compared the 41% of Xbox 360 owners interested in buying an Xbox One.
- The multiplayer experience is very important to all gamers, regardless of what platform they’re playing on.
