Raptr Announces Survey Results For Xbox One and PS4

Raptr has released the final results on their recent survey that gather gamers opinions on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Read on to check out the new infographic and all of the results.

Raptr surveyed its community of 18 million gamers for their thoughts on next-gen consoles, including the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. The survey results reveal interesting data: how many gamers plan to purchase the new consoles, what they will use them for, and how they really feel about the next-gen launches.

Survey highlights include:
  • 59% of next-gen system owners plan to use their console for streaming video, and 22% for live TV.
  • Sony gamers are more likely to be loyal to the brand: 76% of current PS3 owners plan to buy a PS4, compared the 41% of Xbox 360 owners interested in buying an Xbox One.
  • The multiplayer experience is very important to all gamers, regardless of what platform they’re playing on.
