Wargaming Reveals 8.9 Update For World of Tanks

Wargaming has announced Update 8.9 for the free-to-play MMO World of Tanks. Players can also join a special live stream on Twitch to check out all the new features.

Update 8.9 marks the official launch of 7 vs. 7 team battles, a new competitive game mode that allows players to form their own teams and match make against tankmen of similar skill and experience. Along with a new game mode, the latest update enriches the game with an alternative branch of German tank destroyers across tiers 4 through 10, the Chinese 112 and T-34-3 premium tanks, and a brand new battle arena with North American setting, “Northwest.”
