Avenged Sevenfold has announced new details for their upcoming mobile game Hail to the King: Deathbat. The game is in development by Subscience Studios and will feature everything you love from classic dungeon crawlers alongside the iconic artwork that the band is known for. Read on to learn more.

Multiplatinum and stadium-shaking heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold is pleased to share the first details of their upcoming action adventure mobile game, Hail to the King: Deathbat. Developed by Subscience Studios, Hail to the King: Deathbat is inspired by classic dungeon crawlers along with the band’s iconic discography and artwork. The game goes hand in hand with their current Machinima video series, Hail to the King. Hail to the King: Deathbat has a ton of content gamers can sink their teeth into with beautifully drawn hellish landscapes, brutal combat and unforgiving boss demons.
M. Shadows, lead singer of Avenged Sevenfold, elaborated on the game’s genesis, “We’ve been fans of games since we were kids, and we thought it would be fun to create one of our own inspired by our favorites. There are so many cool and innovative indie games being developed today, and we realized we could design and build the kind of game we'd love to play on our own. It is coming together amazingly well, and we can’t wait to share it."
