WEBZEN, a global leader in next-generation free-to-play games, unleashes the MYSTIC, a brand new basic class for the dungeon-based MMORPG, CONTINENT OF THE NINTH SEAL (C9). Wielding a deadly hammer and powerful magical attacks, this new character is now available to all players as part of the game’s FOURTH EXPANSION, which began last month. The last part of C9’s massive content update will feature an advanced form of the MYSTIC and is scheduled to be released next month.
Tasked by the divine goddess Akene to be the keeper of all magic, the MYSTIC is a melee fighter that can perform powerful omnidirectional attacks. She possesses a wide array of AoE skills that are unavailable to other classes, which also allows her to advance to an Elite class quicker than other characters. Her primary weapon is a massive hammer, which she smashes vehemently into the ground to cause paralyzing tremors in the earth. These shockwaves can wipe out even the most powerful of enemies. The MYSTIC also features a Gust Wind attack, which allows her to swing her hammer violently at her opponents, while remaining completely still. Most of the character’s offensive attacks are airborne, which allows players to focus on skill combination, instead of worrying about which enemies to target.
To celebrate the long-awaited arrival of the MYSTIC, CONTINENT OF THE NINTH SEAL has just launched an item giveaway for all adventurers to enjoy. From now through January 15, 2014 (Global Server Time), users can visit any of C9’s media partners to obtain a special item key. Players can redeem this code for free in-game rewards, including 10 Resurrection Scrolls, 5 Extreme Training Potions (100%) (1 Hour), Town Travel Level 1 (3 days) and White Swimsuit Gear (7 Days).
