Puzzle & Dragons Makes Its Way To Additional Territories On The App Store

GungHo Online Entertainment has announced that Puzzle & Dragons on the App Store will be expanded to six additional European countries starting today. Gamers can now download the game in the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, and Finland. Read on to learn more.

GungHo Online Entertainment, Inc., a multiplatform publisher for the online gaming community and publisher of the highly successful mobile title Puzzle & Dragons , today announced that App Store distribution of the game has been expanded to include six additional European countries. Beginning Wednesday, December 4, the United Kingdom is joined by new distribution territories France, Italy, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, and Finland.

Since its Japanese release on February 20, 2012, Puzzle & Dragons has enjoyed considerable popularity with players from all walks of life. Even more than a year later, the game continues to dominate the App Store and Google Play’s Top Grossing rankings. The Japanese release was followed by expansion into the United States, Canada, Korea, and the United Kingdom, where it also quickly became a fixture of the top sales charts. As of October 30 of this year, North American downloads of Puzzle & Dragons have exceeded 2 million downloads, demonstrating the title’s popularity both abroad as well as in Japan.

Puzzle & Dragons made its debut in the United Kingdom on October 16, and this latest European App Store expansion continues GungHo’s efforts to bring the game to a wider international audience.

A mobile gaming phenomenon, Puzzle & Dragons continues to see tremendous growth thanks to the game’s addictive combination of puzzle, dungeon-crawling, and monster-collecting gameplay. Players capture, collect, and evolve hundreds of elemental monsters while using quick thinking to chain combos and maximize the abilities and skills of their monsters. Puzzle & Dragons has now surpassed 21 million downloads in Japan. Puzzle & Dragons is available for free on the App Store.
