Bethesda Softworks will release The Evil Within in 2014 for PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and next-gen consoles. New screenshots have been released to give fans a taste of the horror to come next year. The Evil Within will feature pure survival horror with players facing off against twisted creatures in a frightening journey straight out of their nightmares. Read on.

While investigating the scene of a gruesome mass murder, Detective Sebastian Castellanos and his partners encounter a mysterious and powerful

When he awakens, he finds himself in a deranged world where hideous creatures wander among the dead.
