BattleBlock Theater Gets New Arena Feature, Unlockable Character, and Prisoners

The Behemoth has announced new updates for BattleBlock Theater. The game received a new Arena feature and unlockable characters. Fans can now unlock Cecil and two special prisoners which are Meebs and Swap Bro. The prisoners are only unlockable for a limited time, so get on it today! Read on to learn more.

We've got some updates in the Furbottoms Features (FF) section of BattleBlock Theater. On Friday, we put up a new Arena Feature up for you to play with your frienemies. For another wonderfully written description of the new playlist in the same witty manner of all Aaron’s posts, click HERE to learn more and be delighted by his riddle. Still up in the FF are Solo playlist, ZombieNarwhals, and CoOp playlist, CoMentumMonster. If you play either of those and finish all the levels, then you'll still be able to unlock Cecil! BattleBlock Theater (BBT) fans will also notice that they can unlock TWO new special prisoners once they're signed in to Xbox LIVE and headed towards the online features of BBT. The limited time only prisoners are Meebs, our little cute amoeba friend, and Swamp Bro, who many Castle Crashers fans may find familiarity with a certain other swamp dweller.
