Web-based eSports broadcast platform ESGNTV kicks off its first season of "Fight Night" - StarCraft II Edition on Monday, Jan. 20, at 12:30 p.m. PST / 3:30 p.m. EST, featuring pro gaming players battling each other in Blizzard Entertainment's renowned all-time favorite throughout the upcoming week. Created for eSports fans, "Fight Night" is an original broadcast series that includes established pro gamers competing across some of the the pro gaming world's most competitive titles. Pro eSports players involved with the StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty grudge match are: Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen, Dennis "HasuObs" Schneider, Jong Hyeon "MVP" Jung, Jae Duk "NesTea" Lim, Aleksey "White-Ra" Krupnyk, Grzegorz "MaNa" Komincz, Giacomo "Socke" Thus and Dario "TLO" Wunsch.


Commentators Dan "Artosis" Stemkoski and James "Kaelaris" Carrol will be calling all the action. After nearly two weeks, "Fight Night" has notched almost 1.3 million views on ESGN TV's Twitch (www.twitch.tv/esgn_tv) and YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/esgn) channel. The show has seen 30,000 concurrent viewers for an episode and 70,000 unique views per day on average. The ESGN-channels has had more than 600,000 visits since January 6th. Prior to the "Fight Night" episodes, viewers will join ESGNTV Anchorman Dan "Frodan" Chou live during "ESGN Daily News" at 12:00 p.m PST / 3 p.m. EST for a quick 30-minute breakdown of the latest in eSports news. Following the daily live news broadcast, "Fight Night" starts at 12:30 p.m. PST with the competition running 90 minutes. New episodes of "ESGN Daily News" and "Fight Night" will continue every day throughout the week (same air times), bringing fans consistent, TV production-quality content with the most notable players in eSports. All available episodes of "Fight Night" will be replayed regularly, respectively, with each also being available as video-on-demand (VOD) through the ESGNTV.com channel via YouTube after their first rerun. The latest "ESGN Daily News" episode will be shown once again at 11 p.m. PST and is also going to be available through VOD.
