New Competition Announced For Rekoil With Prizes That Include An Alienware Aurora Gaming Desktop

505 Games and Plastic Piranha have announced a new competition for the upcoming PC game Rekoil. If you are a new or experienced modder, then you can enter the competition for a chance to win a Alienware Aurora gaming desktop that includes a Dell UltraSharp Monitor and more. Read on.

505 Games and Plastic Piranha have launched a map making competition for the upcoming PC arena shooter Rekoil. New and experienced modders can enter the competition which features full map making tools, no game purchase necessary, for the chance to win an Alienware Aurora™ gaming desktop including a Dell UltraSharp Monitor, an Alienware TactX™ Keyboard, a TactX™ Mouse, and a TactX™ Headset. Set in a world devastated by an unrelenting pandemic, Rekoil is a hardcore balanced arena shooter that allows mass battles of up to 24 players. With seven different game modes, 10 maps, and 40 different weapons, the game is focused on infantry based combat across a number of different locations. From the fast moving Assault class, to the heavily armed and dangerous Heavy Gunner class, Rekoil was made for those who desire balanced FPS gameplay with a large variety of different play styles. Developed by Plastic Piranha, Rekoil will be available on Windows PC via Steam by Valve® Corporation for $14.99 on January 28. Entrants must submit their maps by the deadline of midnight PST on March 7, 2014. Each level submission will be reviewed and evaluated by the community, 505 Games and Plastic Piranha.
