Wizard World New Orleans Comic Con Announces Full Weekend Schedule That Includes Mario Kart 64 Tournament

Wizard World New Orleans Comic Con will take place February 7-9th in New Orleans, Louisiana. The full event and panel sessions have been announced for the weekend that includes interactive Q&A segments with Matt Smith, Michael Rooker and Stan Lee. The event will have a ton of fun panels and contests that everyone can enjoy including a Mario Kart 64 Tournament. Read on to learn more.

Question-and-answer sessions with top celebrities like Matt Smith, Stan Lee, WWE® Diva AJ Lee® and Manu Bennett, meet-and-greets, adult and kids costume contests, film festival and an array of comics and pop culture themed panels comprise the robust featured programming schedule at Wizard World New Orleans Comic Con, Feb. 7-9 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Most programming is included as part of the standard event admission.


Some of the highlights of the schedule include:

  • Interactive Q&A sessions with Smith (Sat., 6:15 p.m.), Stan Lee (Sat., 2 p.m..), AJ Lee (Fri., 6:45 p.m.), Bennett (Sat., 2 p.m.), Michael Rooker (Sun., 1:45 p.m.), Alan Tudyk (Sat., 1 p.m.), Dean Cain (Sat., 12:30 p.m.), Robert Englund (Sat., 3 p.m.), Wil Wheaton (Sun., 2:30 p.m.), Jason David Frank (Sat., 1:30 p.m.) and other celebrities
  • Informative discussions with noted comics creators Chris Claremont (Sat., 1 p.m.), Mike Mignola (Sat., 11:30 a.m.), Marv Wolfman (Sun., 1:30 p.m.), Travis Langley, Eric Bailey, Sherri Craig and Danny Fingeroth (Fri., 4:30 p.m.),

Wizard World Comic Con events bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop-fi, pop culture, movies, graphic novels, comics, toys, video gaming, television, sci-fi, gaming, original art, collectibles, contests and more. Wizard World New Orleans Comic Con show hours are Friday, Feb. 7, 3-8 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 8, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 9, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

New Orleans Comic Con is also the place for cosplay, with fans young and old showing off their best costumes throughout the event. Fans dressed as every imaginable character – and some never before dreamed – will roam the convention floor, often stopping by the Show Stage, the ideal place to see and be seen.
