Cosplay and Gaming At Wizard World New Orleans Comic Con 2014

The Wizard World New Orleans Comic Con 2014 was a great family event that occurred from February 7-9, 2014 at the New Orleans N. Morial Convention Center. The convention combined everything into one event which included fun-interactive panels, autograph and photo-op sessions, alongside great cosplay, film screenings and more.

I attended the event all weekend with my two children who had a blast. The event had something every gamer could love from a Mario Kart 64 Tournament to the Gaming of Thrones panel. One of the best parts of attending any event like New Orleans Comic Con is all of the great cosplayers in attendance.

One of our all-time favorite games here at BioGamer Girl is Left 4 Dead. While in attendance at the event, my daughter dressed as Zoey (Left 4 Dead) and I cosplayed as Rochelle (Left 4 Dead 2). Wizard World New Orleans 2014 had the biggest turnout I have ever seen for cosplayers dressed as video game characters. Our favorites are some of the terrific cosplay from the Borderlands series which included Lilith "The Siren" and Mad Moxxi. Cosplay and gaming is just the start of all the incredible happenings at this year's Wizard World New Orleans Comic Con! Stay tuned for more about our great weekend.
