Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Is Visually Stunning In New Video for PS4

Square Enix has announced the release of new details for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn for PlayStation 4. Players can now check out a new video that will give more insight into the next-gen version of the game with high-definition visuals and more. Read on.

Square Enix, Inc., the publisher of SQUARE ENIX interactive entertainment products in the Americas, today released all-new videos highlighting the upcoming PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system version for FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.

Players will get a sneak peek of special features from the next-gen version of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn, including stunning high-definition visuals, Remote Play via the PlayStation Vita system, DUALSHOCK 4 controller touchpad support, player content sharing and mouse/keyboard play capabilities.

In addition, through a newly released “PS4 Conversations with Creators” video, FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn Director / Producer Naoki Yoshida shares his own positive experience with developing for the PlayStation®4 system, as well as his thoughts on the major, long-term player benefits offered through the console’s own advanced capabilities.

FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn will be available for the PlayStation 4 system on April 14, 2014 in both Standard Edition ($39.99) and Collector’s Edition ($79.99). The Collector’s Edition for the PlayStation 4 system will be available exclusively on the Square Enix Online Store. A digital version of the Collector’s Edition will be available for $59.99 through the PlayStation Network. A free 30-day trial is included for new accounts, with monthly subscriptions starting at $12.99.

All PlayStation®4 system owners will be able to join the FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn Beta Test at no charge starting on February 22. Players who own the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system version of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn will be able to transfer their accounts to the PlayStation®4 system version for free starting April 11 in preparation for launch on April 14.
