Wewanaplay App Is Changing The Way You Play Online

Wewanaplay app helps keep children safe during online gaming by allowing them to organize play sessions with friends. This application makes sure that your children are gaming with people you know and helps you properly organize game sessions for them. Read on.

From the Press Release
Parents have long been worried about who their children are talking to online, with much publicity surrounding the grooming and manipulation of children within traditional internet chat rooms. That threat has now been amplified within online gaming where people old and young are regularly exposed to a barrage of abuse, extreme bullying and even direct threats of physical violence. The recent news surrounding the grooming of children online has only heightened the worry that most parents now face. Wewanaplay is helping to combat this threat with an innovative smartphone based application which makes it easier for friends to organize game playing times together.

'' Our app is already widely used by adults, but it was a comment made by my sister whilst playing online with my nephew that helped me realize how powerful we could be for parents. My sister remarked that she only lets my nephew play online with people she knows as she is frightened of what he might be exposed to if he was alone''

This got Deepak Pathak (Wewanaplay CEO) thinking about the ways his app could be used as force for good within online gaming.

''What we are finding is that surprisingly a number of parents are actively encouraging their children to use WewanaPlay. The app is actively encouraging younger gamers to play more often with their friends, thereby helping protect them against the dangers of playing online alone. My sister never lets my nephew play outside alone in the same way she does not let him play online alone. The app is helping facilitie this safer environment by giving parents a tool that actively encourages playing with those that they know well.''

Wewanaplay is now on a crusade to help educate even more parents on the benefits of the app and we will be introducing even tighter security features to reflect the needs of this newer younger market.

Currently the app only lets you communicate with people who have accepted your friends requests, but in the coming days you will also be able to lock your profile down even further.

'Parents realise that we are not a spying tool, rather a handy tool encouraging their children to play safer online'
