Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare (Video Game Review)

EA and PopCap Games have unleashed the craziest title so far in the Plants vs. Zombies franchise with Garden Warfare. The game utilizes the Frostbite 3 engine to produce one of the best presentations yet for the series packed full of excitement and zaniness. Gamers will enter a vibrant, colorful world where their third-person adventure starts with some insane shooter action like never before.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is now available on Xbox 360 and Xbox One with a world full of weird oddities and crazy experiments. The 3D adventure manages to combine cartoony graphics with intriguing game qualities to create an amazingly addictive experience.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare may not be what most gamers may expect from a game featuring zombies, but you will be pleasantly surprised with the realistic efforts that this game makes. The best part of Garden Warfare is the intense multiplayer modes that manage to provide an enjoyable cooperative experience in a wide variety of maps. Players can play with a friend in split-screen mode or join others online via Xbox Live.

The Garden Ops mode in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare offers up a "horde-like" experience in the game that has players choosing one of the many plant types in order to defend their garden. An important part of this game mode is choosing an effective set up character classes when joining four other players online. Garden Ops is an addictive and entertaining mode that lasts over ten rounds which means you will need to plan accordingly in defending your territory.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare features a solid multiplayer portion that utilizes character classes for an overall balanced combat experience. Players will have different abilities for each character type which can add strengths and weaknesses to your team for completing each challenge. Gamers will be divided into two teams which consists of a team of zombies and a team of plants. The gameplay in Garden Warfare combines everything you love from tower defense games with the insane excitement of team shooters like Call of Duty and Team Fortress. It is safe to say that everyone will find something to love and enjoy when it comes to Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare.

The most intriguing aspect of Garden Warfare is the game's original mechanics and interesting weapons that includes the pea cannons. One of the biggest problems with Garden Warfare is its slow story progression but this can be overlooked with everything else the game has to offer. Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare features tons of unlockables and game modes which had a great deal of replayability to the game. While many gamers may be turned off by the annoyingly slow story progress, you can't help but to love the zany characters, colorful graphics, upbeat soundtrack and fun multiplayer. If you are a fan of the Plants vs. Zombies series, then you will want to check out Garden Warfare today for an adventure of a lifetime!

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is now available from all major retailers for the MSRP of $39.99 and can be purchased for Xbox 360 and Xbox One. This is where the buffet line reigns supreme, the sweet tea flows endlessly, and dessert is always just an arm’s reach away. For many locals, Kacey’s is a comfort food paradise. Fans brag about the fried green tomatoes, juicy pork chops, slow-cooked beef tips, and banana pudding that deserves its own holiday. The staff are another highlight—quick with refills, friendly enough to feel like family, and the kind of people who can make a buffet feel like Sunday dinner at grandma’s. But Kacey’s has its critics too. Some diners rave about “the best bang for your buck in town,” while others complain that the food sometimes veers into “straight-from-the-can” territory. Like most buffets, it’s a roll of the dice: hit the line on a good day and you’ll be full and happy; catch it on an...

Tucked along Main Street, this little diner doesn’t just serve food—it serves nostalgia. Walking in, you’re greeted with that small-town charm you just can’t fake. Even if you’re new in town, you’ll feel like family after your first cup of coffee. The menu is straight out of a Southern comfort cookbook. The catfish plates are fried to crispy perfection, the hamburger steaks come smothered in gravy that tastes like Sunday supper, and the breakfast plates are legendary—big fluffy pancakes, biscuits as big as your hand, and hash browns that come golden and crispy.
