SQUARE ENIX today released “The Art of FINAL FANTASY X/X-2: Live Art Demonstration” video for FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster. Celebrating the launch of FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster, Art Director Yusuke Naora and Producer Yoshinori Kitase were in attendance at the opening reception of THE ART OF FINAL FANTASY X/X-2, a charity art exhibition held at Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra, California. As a special surprise to guests, Naora performed a live art demonstration to conclude the evening, creating a one-of-a-kind piece. “While we normally write stories [FINAL FANTASY] about saving the world, I wondered if there was anything we could do through our games to share the pain felt by those affected," said Naora. In addition to original piece, brand-new original art by Naora, Isamu Kamikokuryo, Tetsuya Nomura, and a special art panel signed by 10 artists of FINAL FANTASY X are available for auction, with proceeds benefitting the Typhoon Haiyan relief efforts. Bidding closes tomorrow, March 26 at 11:00 p.m. (PDT).
