Unlimited Access Weekend For World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition Starts Today

Wargaming has announced that World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition unlimited access weekend starts today and ends on March 30th. Gamers will be able to play the game without the need for an Xbox Live Gold membership and allow them to experience the Map Madness campaign. Read on.

Wargaming has partnered with Microsoft to give anyone and everyone in the Xbox Live community unlimited access to World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition, no Xbox Live Gold membership required, even if Silver account holders have used up their seven day trial! Previously, access for those players was limited to a 7-day timed trial. Now, those players will be able to get back into the action, even if they have already exhausted their allotted demo time.

Event Begins: Friday, March 28, 07:01 UTC (00:01 PDT / 03:01 EDT)
Event Ends: Sunday, March 30, 06:59 UTC (23:59 PDT / 02:59 EDT)

This new access period will give all players the chance to experience the culmination of the Map Madness campaign, which tasked players around the world with hitting a tank destruction quote. After tens of millions of kills, the players succeeded in hitting their goal, with the last map, Prokhorovka, slated to be released Friday morning.
