Avalanche 2: Super Avalanche Now Available For Pre-order

Majesco Entertainment Company has announced that the sequel to their endless climber game, Avalanche 2: Super Avalanche, is looking for help to make it onto Steam. The game is now available for pre-order and was inspired by such games as Spelunky and the Binding of Isaac. Read on.

From the Press Release
Avalanche 2: Super Avalanche, the sequel to the 2007 endless climber played more than 60 million times, needs your help to get on Steam – but don’t worry, all you have to do is play the new demo launched today by developer Beast Games and vote! In just seconds you can help one more marshmallow get its wings!

Brought to you by Midnight City, Majesco Entertainment Company’s (NASDAQ: COOL) independent digital label, Avalanche 2: Super Avalanche is an endless climber with a newly integrated RPG twist. Inspired by popular modern rougelikes such as Spelunky and Binding of Isaac, every game is different. Featuring shops, upgrades, NPC’s and boss battles galore, this isn’t your average climber. The teaser demo lets you play for up to 30 minute a day, giving you a taste of the many powerups and personalizations available.

Modeled after the original, wildly popular flash game Avalanche, Avalanche 2 pulls players back into the warm embrace of a marshmallow hero powering through an endless shower of blocks. New additions include over 100,000 possible combinations of powerups, not to mention the over one million customization combos. As the puffed-up protagonists vault towards the heavens, new block types, enemies and environments keep the action fresh, while increasingly challenging missions and procedurally generated boss battles offer plenty of variety in the climb to the top. To help unlock new powerups, players collect coins as they smash enemies and pull off split-second close call bonuses. Keep an eye out for banks to withdraw and deposit your coinage and stores and vendors who offer up their wares in exchange for your coveted coin.

Avalanche 2: Super Avalanche is available for pre-order at $9.99 via www.superavalanche.com
