About Raptr's Most Played Games On PC For March 2014
Total playtime in March was up nearly 23% over the previous month, though this is due in part to an influx of new users to Raptr. World of Warcraft topped the charts this month. Blizzard offered a Level 90 character boost on March 21 as a pre-purchase bonus for its upcoming expansion Warlords of Draenor, which served as an easier way for users to jump to the end-game. We’ve seen a 30% increase in daily players since then. Speaking of Blizzard games, Diablo III rose 10 spots to the #2 slot. Blizzard offered two bonus experience weekends on March 3 (+50% XP) and March 21 (+100% XP). And playtime almost doubled beginning on March 25 with the release of the Diablo III expansion Reaper of Souls. This major expansion offered an additional hero, an increased level cap, an overhauled experience system, the removal of the auction house, and opens up Sanctuary to all characters, regardless of level.
