Deponia – The Puzzle and Edna & Harvey – The Puzzle Now Out on iOS

Hamburg-based developer Daedalic has announced the launch of Deponia – The Puzzle and Edna & Harvey – The Puzzle for iOS. The games can currently be purchased for iOS for $1.99 and includes puzzle gameplay rarely seen in the series. Android versions of the games are expected to release on June 12, 2014 in the Google Play Store and on the Amazon App Store. Read on for more details.





With Deponia – The Puzzle and Edna & Harvey – The Puzzle, the cult adventures return as mobile puzzle fun and provide the real Daedalic feeling. With each game offering 96 puzzles of favorite background themes from the Deponia trilogy and the Edna & Harvey series, long-term puzzle fun is guaranteed. Three different modes are available in the single-player version. In the classic Search & Find mode, players have to find the right puzzle pieces for a given field as quickly as possible in order to earn maximum points. Additional drag & drop modes, rotating puzzles, and a variety of difficulty levels ensure that even puzzle pros will have tons of fun.

The highlight of the mobile version is the two-player mode. Once a puzzle has been unlocked, it can be played with someone else from then on. Two friends can compete at puzzling on the same tablet in a speedy picture duel.

Jackson County Fair in Scottsboro, Alabama (Event Review)

The Jackson County Fair has invaded Scottsboro, Alabama for the week of October 7-11, 2014, but the event may be a waste of money for some.  The fair was the 79th annual showing and was presented by Kissel Entertainment. The event featured rides, exhibits, games and great (yet too expensive) food for attendees at the show. Families could have enjoyed a great time at the fair grounds, but the event wasn't cheap and it didn't feature some of the more prominent attractions like one would find at larger, state fairs and carnivals. The turn out very low in Scottsboro though, and many would think that this would make it easier to enjoy the event but not even small lines could help make the Jackson County event fun.
