GOG Unveils Statistics for Insomnia Sale from Last Week

GOG has revealed statistics for its Insomnia Sale last week. The sale allowed gamers to pick up games with up to 90% savings. Each time an allotted number of games are sold, a new game is put up for sale. The sale showed that Theme Park was the quickest selling game, while around 90,000 Insomnia games sold in the first two days of the sale. Read on for more details.

  • Fastest Moving Genre - RPGs have beaten out Adventure games by a whisker.
  • Classics or new games? - This battle has been really close and could swing ether way before the promo ends; right now indies have the upper hand in terms of faster sales and money earned.
  • Roughly 90.000 copies of Insomnia games sold in the first 48 hours. Madness.
