Mionix NAOS 7000, NASH 20 & Propus 380 (Accessories Review)

Mionix is a PC gaming accessories producer based in Sweden that was first established back in 2007 by Peter Nygren. The company has since become one of the most well known and appreciated companies in the industry and have several awards for their excellent products to prove it. The company has a large collection of mouses, mouse pads and keyboards that are perfect for professional and casual PC gamers, and their products are available for sale around the world including Amazon and NewEgg in the United States. We were lucky enough to get some alone time with the Minonix NAOS 7000, NASH 20 and Propus 380 for review purposes, and the following recounts some of our thoughts on the products. For more information, fans can visit the official Mionix website.

Mionix NAOS 7000
The Mionix NAOS 7000 was the first product we tested. The mouse is a high quality product that provides the ultimate in comfort, style and performance. The mouse comes packed with plenty of great features including customizable buttons. LED lighting, an ideal design for right-handed gamers and a sensor that accurately tracks the movements of the laser guided accessory. PC games will love the design of the NAOS 7000, and it's a good deal when compared with similar input devices in the industry.

The first thing anyone will notice when using the NAOS 7000 is how comfortably the mouse fits the hand. The device is designed with right-handed gamers in mind, so there is a small portion of gamers out there that will be completely disappointed with the product, but assuming fans are in the majority of gamers that work a mouse with their right hand, the NAOS 7000 will quickly become the most comfortable mouse ever with indentions that hold the ring finger and pinky on a soft, rubber shell. Even more importantly, gamers will find each right or left click feels excellent with the mouse, while the scroll wheel does a good job of snapping the desired number of times when cycling through weapons or performing other tasks in a game without causing too many problems. The mouse also has a nice rubber bottom that prevents unnecessary sliding and similar slippery problems.

Perhaps the most impressive aspects of the NAOS 7000 is the hardware the mouse is packing inside. The mouse is laser guided and boasts an ADNS-3310 sensor that can track speeds up to 700DPI. The mouse also uses a technology Minonix refers to as S.Q.A.T. that places the sensor very close to the surface the device sits on and tracks how much data is lost in its current position to assist gamers in finding the perfect place to play their games. One of the most entertaining features of the NAOS 7000 is the customizable LED lighting that allows for many different colors all with different effects including solid lights and blinking. With 7 programmable buttons, the device can also house plenty of button layouts including options to quickly switch between DPI settings even in the middle of games. The Mionix NAOS 7000 is a great gaming mouse that fans should check out immediately to upgrade the tools of their trade.

Mionix NAOS 7000 Features:
  • Ergonomic Mouse Design for Right-Handed Gamers
  • ADNS-3310 Senor Tracks Up to 7000DPI
  • Customizable Buttons
  • Multiple Color Options
  • Rubber Grip Coating

Mionix NASH 20
The Mionix NASH 20 is a new computer gaming headset that comes packed with plenty of great features that makes it one of the best accessories to own for online gamers. The design of the NASH 20 isn't the most aesthetically pleasing accessory in the world, but it's incredibly comfortable to wear during long gaming sessions and it's available at a decent price. Some unique features for the device includes a mic that mutes when flipped up and earpieces that feature volume controls built-in, so there are no additional boxes and wires to deal with while using the headset. The earpieces and mic also produce good sounds, which is easily the most important feature of any good headset

The NASH 20 isn't the best headset to look at. The design looks similar to two square boxes attached by a headband, but after wearing the headset for the first time, those initial judgments quickly fade away. The earpieces are some of the most comfortable we've ever wore with memory foam cushion and swivel adjustments that ensure the accessory fits perfectly on any head. The headband also fits comfortably with additional padding that makes it feel like it's not there, and it allows for additional adjustments to keep the headset from sliding off. The accessory is complete with a black paint finish and logos etched into either earpiece.

The NASH 20 headset has other features that make it a good choice for many gamers as well that includes easy to access volume controls built in to the earpieces. Players only need to quickly reach up to the side of their head to change volume levels and perform other tasks related to sound, while flipping up the mic instantly mutes the volume coming from that player, which is a feature that really makes sense when considering this is how most gamers treat their headsets when having a private conversation with someone in the same room rather than in a game. The headset is wired though, and the mic isn't detachable. This reduces the flexibility of the headsets limitations and will obviously be a major detraction for some gamers and understandably so. Still, players will be hard pressed to find a headset that offers the same features and high quality sound inputs and outputs for the same price, so if you're in the market for a new PC gaming headset, check out the NASH 20.

Mionix NASH 20 Features:
  • Memory Foam Earpieces
  • Flip Up to Mute Mic
  • Swivel Ear Cups Adjust for Comfortable Fit
  • Adjustable Headband
  • Easy Acess Volume Controls

Mionix Propus 380
Mionix states that the Propus 380 mouse pad is named after the Greek word for forward foot. We don't know the true significance behind naming the product after forward foot, but the mouse pad will definitely give PC gamers a leg up over the competition. The pad features a great design that makes it sturdy and durable and yet flexible enough to not cause any problems while in use or while moving the pad from one location to another. The Propus is a rather large mouse pad that provides enough room for even the most aggressive mouse movements, and a great design means the mouse never slips or slides, and neither will the pad.

The Propus 380 is a nice looking mouse pad featuring designs from Mionix in the corners of the pad. The Propus is roughly very wide and about twice the size of traditional mouse pads to give gamers plenty of room to play their games. The surface is soft but features a textured coat that keeps the mouse from sliding out of place or stopping short. The bottom of the pad also features a layer of rubber that ensures the Propus stays in position while being used in games as well. The Mionix accessory is a luxury items for some, but gamers know a good mouse pad can be the difference between winning or losing a match, the Propus 380 is definitely one of the better mouse pads available for gamers to purchase today. Check out the Mionix Propus 380 and these other great products at a retailer near you today!

Mionix Propus 380 Features:
  • Single Piece Design
  • Thin PVC Plastic Top
  • Rubber Prevents Sliding
  • Extra Wide for Freedom of Movement
