SEGA has announced a new partnership with Alienware Arena for an eSports tournament for the game Company of Heroes 2. The tournament will head across Europe and North America for three weeks in June 2014 with $1000 in cash prizes for each location. SEGA will also be giving out Alienware Arena members access to the full version of Company of Heroes 2 including all multiplayer modes in order to promote the tournament. Read on for more details.
SEGA today announced that they have entered a tournament partnership with eSports heavyweight Alienware Arena for Relic Entertainment’s critically acclaimed Company of Heroes 2. Alienware is set to host a three week 1v1 tournament across Europe and North America in June 2014, with more than $1,000 in total cash prizes in each region. Tournament dates are from June 7 through June 21, 2014, and it is open to all Alienware Arena members with a limit of 128 contestants.
