Syfy's The Wil Wheaton Project Debuts Next Tuesday

Syfy has announced a new series entitled The Wil Wheaton Project that will debut next week on the channel. The 30-minute premiere will begin at 10 PM EST on Tuesday, May 27 and feature Wheaton's friend and comedian Chris Hardwick as the first guest. Read on for more details.



Syfy debuts a new weekly topical comedy show, "The Wil Wheaton Project," hosted by actor, blogger and champion of geek culture, Wil Wheaton. The 30-minute show is a fast-paced, lighthearted exploration and celebration of the week's most popular and trending topics across science fiction film, television and pop culture, video games, viral videos and news.

In the series premiere, Wil's friend, Chris Hardwick ("Nerdist," "@midnight") stops by the set to give Wil a hard time about having his own TV show. Together, they throw to a funny bit about "The Walking Dead."
