5. Sammy Watkins
The Clemson standout is widely considered the consensus best wide receiver in the 2014 NFL Draft, a draft class that is also considered to be very deep at the wide receiver position. Sammy Watkins is a freak athlete that has great hands, speed and size, and the wideout has the ability to break tackles after the catch, which has many scouts comparing the player to the Dallas Cowboy's Dez Bryant. The only reason Sammy Watkins isn't higher on the list is the player doesn't have a team yet, and we don't like the idea of using Chad Henne and the rest of the Jacksonville Jaguars just to use this elite pass catcher.
4. Peyton Manning
Not every player on this list will be a rookie, and bitter Bronco fans are sure to load up a rematch of last year's Super Bowl to try and get that bitter loss out of their memory. Other gamers will simply want to use Peyton Manning just to have one of the best rated pocket passers in Madden NFL 15. It's also nice to finish off a drive and turn to defense to try out new Denver free agents T.J. Ward, DeMarcus Ware and Aqib Talib with the new additions coming to the defensive side of the ball in Madden NFL 15.
3. Johnny Manziel
Johnny Manziel gets the luxury that many rookies don't have in Madden NFL 15 in that it doesn't really matter what team he ends up on. The athletic quarterback can make plays with his arms or legs, so going to a team full of good talent isn't required for gamers to have a good time playing as Johnny Football. The player is one of the most interesting prospects for the 2014 NFL Draft, and he's likely to be one of the most talked about rookies for the entire NFL season for the year.
2. Richard Sherman
We hope Richard Sherman won't mind if we talk about him for just a little while. The loud and proud defensive back is likely the most well known in the league following a Super Bowl winning season last year, and since he's the best in the game at what he does, there is no real reason not to want to try him out in Madden NFL 15, unless you're a 49ers fan! Sherman is tall, long and fast, and any receiver in Madden NFL 15 will have trouble getting any seperation from this corner.
1. Jadeveon Clowney
Longtime fans of the Madden NFL series will remember wrecking havoc with Julius Peppers, Dwight Freeney and Mario Williams during their prime. Jadeveon Clowney will likely be rated the best out of all those players in the new game, and with EA Sports announcing new defensive improvements for their upcoming game, we can't think of anyone we'd like to take the sticks as than Jadeveon Clowney. The South Carolina star has been projected by many to be the first name called in the 2014 NFL Draft, and even if he isn't, he's likely to be one of the first names gamers will hear after loading into their first game of Madden NFL 15 in August.
Madden NFL 15 is now available for preorder from select retailers for the MSRP of $59.99 and is scheduled to release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One & Xbox 360 on August 26, 2014. Madden NFL 15 is not yet rated. For more information on the game, check out the official Madden NFL 15 website.
