Ubisoft and Watch Dogs Presents Phreaked Out Mini-Series Looking at Hacking

Ubisoft has teamed with Motherboard to produce a new mini-series to help promote the launch of Watch Dogs. Phreaked Out will feature three episodes and show how many devices in the real world can be affected just as they are in the upcoming game. Today, Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs presents Episode One of the new series Phreaked Out, a Motherboard production. The three-episode series meets face-to-face with today's most talented security researchers and hackers to learn firsthand how to breach the most commonly used devices around.

The series explores how many of the technologies and modern advances that make our lives more efficient, enjoyable, and safe are becoming increasingly susceptible to attack. Episode One heads to Los Angeles to examine the state of hacking traffic networks, and ultimately concludes that only one thing is certain: with enough determination, nothing is secure.
