Devolver Digital Announces The Talos Principle and Titan Souls

At this year's E3 during the Sony press conference, Devolver Digital made some exciting new announcements for their coming lineup that includes The Talos Principle and Titan Souls. Players can now check out the official teaser for The Talos Principle. Read on to learn more.

Revealed at the Sony E3 press conference, Devolver Digital announces it has added two new games to its Indie Games Roster of AwesomenessT: Croatian development powerhouse Croteam's The Talos Principle will launch on PC, PlayStation®4 and PlayStation VitaT as well as PC, Mac and Linux. Also revealed at the press conference, Devolver Digital is set to publish Titan Souls from developer Acid Nerve, recipient of the prestigious gold award at the 2013 Ludum Dare game jam. Additionally, included in the lineup of games headed to the Sony console are the indie darlings Broforce (Free Lives) and Not a Hero (Roll7).

The Talos Principle from Croteam is a philosophical puzzler, penned by Tom Jubert (FTL, The Swapper) and Jonas Kyratzes (Infinite Ocean), and tasks players with solving a series of increasingly difficult and complex puzzles - all woven into an overarching metaphysical parable about intelligence and meaning in an inevitably doomed world. Solve more than 120 puzzles through the eyes of an advanced AI construct and unveil your significance at the behest of your creators. The Talos Principle is built with Croteam's proprietary Serious Engine 4T, where real world locations and historical elements can be scanned into the game world.

Indie action title Titan Souls takes players into a world between worlds, where the Titan Souls reside as the spiritual source and sum of all living things. Scattered about this dimension between dimensions are the remnants of the souls, now shattered into pieces with each piece guarded by one of the titans of legend. On a quest for truth and power, you are armed with but a single arrow and whatever courage you have left to take down the titans hidden amongst the ruins.

The indie favorites Broforce and Not a Hero are set to make their console debut on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita alongside PC. Broforce developer Free Lives is on tap at E3 to showcase all new bros, weapons and the latest developments in the patriotic freedom simulator. Roll7 is also on hand at E3 talking up its proprietary ISO-SlantT technology (presented in 2¼D) for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and PC.
