Katie Cassidy Added to Wizard World Events in Austin and Chicago

Wizard World has announced actress Katie Cassidy will appear at both Wizard World events in Austin and Chicago later this year. The actress made a name for herself in series that include Supernatural, Melrose Place and Gossip Girl. Read on for more details.




Katie Cassidy, who portrays "Laurel Lance" on the CW television series "Arrow," will make her first two Wizard World appearances at upcoming shows in Chicago (August 23-24) and Austin (October 4).

Cassidy has also appeared in the series "Supernatural," "Melrose Place" and "Gossip Girl" and the movies When a Stranger Calls, A Nightmare on Elm Street and Monte Carlo, among others.

She also landed the title role alongside Eliza Dushku, Michelle Trachtenberg and Gina Gershon in The Scribbler.
