Square Enix Announces Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX Coming to PlayStation 3 Later this Year

Square Enix has announced the upcoming release of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix that will offer Final Mix versions of the classic games Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. The game will feature all new battles and encounters that include new boss battles and a showdown between Sora and Roxas at the Station of Awakening. Read on for more details.


For the first time, the Final Mix versions of Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep will be making their way to North America. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX allows players to have Sora go head-to-head with Roxas at the Station of Awakening. Players will also have access to secret boss battles, new weapons, abilities, mini-games and additional cutscenes that help explain the story of Kingdom Hearts.

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX also includes HD remastered cinematics from Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, the game that sent Sora on an adventure in the digital world . Sora, Riku and the rest of the characters of the beloved franchise will come to life later this year, with cutscenes and battles recreated from scratch for this gorgeous HD remastered collection for the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system.
