The Last of Us: The Poster Collection (Book Review)

The Last of Us was one of the most impressive games that released over the entire span of last generation gaming consoles when it launched exclusively for PlayStation 3 last year. The game was not only a lot of fun to play, incredibly intuitive and innovative, but it pushed the boundaries for how good a game could look on PlayStation 3. The Last of Us: The Poster Collection allows fans to capture many famous scenes, favorite characters and amazing concept art from the game in poster form to hang on the walls of their bedrooms or even to frame and hang in any room of a home. Joel and Ellie travel across a post-apocalyptic United States in The Last of Us, and the duo meet up with plenty of different characters during their journey that will either help or hinder their progress. Many of these friendly characters and enemies are represented on the different posters in the collection, and there are other more unique pieces including some of the game's different environments and promotional pieces for the game included in The Last of Us: The Poster Collection as well. The nice array of visuals included in the collection means every fan will have a few different posters that they will absolutely love and will want to hang up immediately after purchase.

If there is any problem with The Last of Us: The Poster Collection, it is that all of the posters in the book are double-sided. This means users will be forced to choose between two different posters to display at any given time, and if two favorites are on the same page, one will still have to be sacrificed. Each poster is made from a high quality, glossy paper that won't tear easy, so it is easily possible to flip between the two sides on different days without worrying about too much wear showing on the posters. The Last of Us is a great game, and The Last of Us: The Poster Collection is the perfect way for fans to proudly display their love for the PlayStation 3 exclusive on their walls.
