Battle Fleet 2 Sets Sail On July 17

Capital j Media's Battle Fleet 2 is set to launch for iOS, Android, Windows and Mac on July 17th. The game will allow players to control their very own battle fleet were they must utilize strategy and precision to control their ship. Capital j Media launch Battle Fleet 2on July 17, 2014 on iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac with cross platform multiplayer across all devices. In Battle Fleet 2 the player controls the angle and power of their guns and the movement of the ship in glorious turn based strategy format. In addition to improved graphics and mechanics, an entire campaign mode has been added and the combat system has been improved to track each individual shell's height and hit location, allowing you to shoot over terrain or potentially target individual components of an enemy ship.

Additional improvements include improved options for outfitting your ships, including the ability to place individual commanders, expanded cards to play, better multiplayer options, and an entirely new graphics engine. Battle Fleet 2 looks better, plays better, but is otherwise a true successor to the original best seller.

Battle Fleet 2 is a true naval combat sim set in the WW2 era. Players manually control each ship, selecting which guns to bring, use, what the angle power of their shots are, and how the ships move. Additionally carriers bring planes to perform bombing runs and interception missions into battles. Fights can take place around island chains, which can help provide cover, blocking line of sight, or forcing enemies to run aground. All of this comes together in a fast paced battle in scenarios, campaign mode, or online against other players.
