Cartoon Network's Dexter's Laboratory was a animated series that featured a boy genius by the name of Dexter and his sister Dee Dee. The series was one of Cartoon Network's most successful ongoing series and was nominated for several awards. Most of the strange happenings of the show took place in Dexter's Laboratory where his hyperactive sister Dee Dee continuously pushes his buttons and his patience.

IDW has managed to bring back some of the great moments of the show with the release of Dexter's Laboratory Classics: Volume 1 which is an excellent read and manages to keep you glued to the pages until the very end. Every page of the comic is beautifully illustrated with vibrant, colorful artwork that goes perfectly with the superbly written stories. Dexter's Laboratory Classics: Volume 1 manages to bring the characters to life in such a way that they almost jump out of the pages at you. Fans can't help but giggle while flipping through the exquisite pages of the comic as each character radiates such energy and charisma that it seems like you are actually inside the world of Dexter's Laboratory.

Jackson County Fair in Scottsboro, Alabama (Event Review)

The Jackson County Fair has invaded Scottsboro, Alabama for the week of October 7-11, 2014, but the event may be a waste of money for some.  The fair was the 79th annual showing and was presented by Kissel Entertainment. The event featured rides, exhibits, games and great (yet too expensive) food for attendees at the show. Families could have enjoyed a great time at the fair grounds, but the event wasn't cheap and it didn't feature some of the more prominent attractions like one would find at larger, state fairs and carnivals. The turn out very low in Scottsboro though, and many would think that this would make it easier to enjoy the event but not even small lines could help make the Jackson County event fun.
