Insert Coin Clothing Releases New Infographic That Details The Gear That Gamers Are Buying

Insert Coin Clothing has released a new infographic that gives more insight into the industry and what kind of products players are buying. Over 1,400 people were surveyed and the results show what types of products that gamers are buying and what they expect to purchase in the future. Read on to learn more.

Every year the video game industry and analysts produce surveys on the state of the video games (how many game copies and consoles are sold, what types of games people are playing and so on), but one aspect of the industry that hasn't been discussed is the kind of gear (clothing, toys, etc.) gamers are buying.

To discover this side of gaming, video game clothing company Insert Coin surveyed more than 1,400 gamers and created a nifty infographic with the results to show the types of items gamers are buying besides video games and consoles.

Here are a few facts from the infographic:
  • 81 percent of gamers purchase gamer gear
  • $60 is the average spent on gaming gear each year
  • 9 out of 10 gamers said they will purchase gear in the future
  • The average gamer will give and receive gamer gear as gifts
