So Many Me (Video Game Review)

So Many Me is an adorable new platformer from developer Extend Studio and publisher Origo Games. The game is currently available on Steam for PC and on the OUYA console. So Many Me involves strategic resource planning combined with challenging puzzles and fun characters for an adventure like no other. Ready to start your adventure? Read on to learn more.

While we have all had our share of various puzzle platformers, So Many Me stands out above other titles because it radiates pure charm and elegance. The world of So Many Me is full of radiate visuals and colorful characters that draw you in within minutes of playing. Players will enjoy exploring the beautiful environments around them while listening to a superbly charming soundtrack to boot.

In order for puzzles to be enjoyable, however, the game needs to make sure that individual puzzles are not too challenging or simple. So Many Me features some really fun puzzles but some of them can be a little too underwhelming and easy that many gamers may not find enough challenge within the gameplay. The difficulty for the game does increase some as you play but the puzzles still remain rather simple in nature.

So Many Me features a simplistic storyline that allows players to step into the many shoes of a green blob named Filo who has the ability to clone himself. The many clones are referred to as "Me" and possess all kinds of fantastic abilities that come in very handy throughout your adventures. Gamers will progress through the many platforming adventures while collecting unique new clones with special abilities that adds even more fun with trying to master your new found skills.

Platforming in So Many Me is relatively entertaining but your character's movements and jumping mechanics are rather rigid which sometimes causes the gameplay to slow down and lose its momentum. While some of these issues don't take away from the overall enjoyment of the game, So Many Me still manages to deliver a entertaining experience because of the creative methods utilized throughout the game with your various clones.

In the end, So Many Me is a decent game that can be enjoyed on OUYA or Steam. We tested the version on both platforms and found that adding an Xbox 360 controller to your PC can deliver the same console performance as you would get with the OUYA with little differential features between the two platforms as a whole. If you have been looking for a platforming adventure that delivers some of the unique qualities of classic games that contains colorful visuals and simplistic gameplay then look no further then So Many Me.

Buffet Bliss or Southern Swing-and-a-Miss? A Bite at Kacey’s in Huntsville

Walk through the doors of Kacey’s Country Cooking in Huntsville and you’re greeted by the comforting smell of fried chicken, collard greens, and cornbread that could double as perfume for any true Southerner. This is where the buffet line reigns supreme, the sweet tea flows endlessly, and dessert is always just an arm’s reach away. For many locals, Kacey’s is a comfort food paradise. Fans brag about the fried green tomatoes, juicy pork chops, slow-cooked beef tips, and banana pudding that deserves its own holiday. The staff are another highlight—quick with refills, friendly enough to feel like family, and the kind of people who can make a buffet feel like Sunday dinner at grandma’s. But Kacey’s has its critics too. Some diners rave about “the best bang for your buck in town,” while others complain that the food sometimes veers into “straight-from-the-can” territory. Like most buffets, it’s a roll of the dice: hit the line on a good day and you’ll be full and happy; catch it on an...

Step Back in Time at Ole Towne Café in Ardmore

If you’ve ever wished you could step into your grandma’s kitchen and smell fresh biscuits baking while bacon sizzles in the skillet, Ole Towne Café in Ardmore, Alabama, is the next best thing. Tucked along Main Street, this little diner doesn’t just serve food—it serves nostalgia. Walking in, you’re greeted with that small-town charm you just can’t fake. The walls are lined with country décor, the coffee flows like a friendly neighbor’s gossip, and everyone seems to know everyone else. Even if you’re new in town, you’ll feel like family after your first cup of coffee. The menu is straight out of a Southern comfort cookbook. The catfish plates are fried to crispy perfection, the hamburger steaks come smothered in gravy that tastes like Sunday supper, and the breakfast plates are legendary—big fluffy pancakes, biscuits as big as your hand, and hash browns that come golden and crispy. And let’s not forget dessert. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, save room for the pies. Ole Towne Café d...
