Adventures of Pip Gets New Kickstarter Campaign To Platform The Game To New Heights

Tic Toc Studios has announced the luanch of a new Kickstarter for Adventures of Pip (AoP). The game is a scrolling, platformer with a goal to raise $40,000 in its new crowdfuning campaign. Read on to learn more.

Team
North Hollywood, Calif. based, TicToc Studios comprises a stellar team that has collectively created award winning game titles at studios such as Disney, Nickelodeon, Wayforward and Sony.

More about Pip
In AoP, you start life as a single pixel and traverse a world where low and high-bit characters run the gamut between old and new school graphics - those with higher resolutions rule while those with lower resolutions are destined to serve. When an ‘evil’ queen levels the playing field by reducing everybody to a single pixel, it’s up to an unlikely hero - Pip - to save the kingdom. Pip has the unique ability to absorb the pixels of his fallen enemies and gains resolution through great resolve. As Pip evolves in the game, the visuals, gameplay and music (by Jake "virt" Kaufman) evolve along with him.

Platforms
With AoP, the studio is changing course and distancing itself from the popular but un-gamer friendly freemium model. The game will be developed for PC/Mac Steam and Wii U with Xbox One and PSN as stretch goals.

Awards
The TicToc team collectively has a slew of top tier titles and award winners under their belts like Ratchet & Clank, Spider Man 2, Pirates of the Caribbean 2 & 3, Toy Story Mania, Scarface, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Shantae, A Boy and His Blob, Looney Tunes: Duck Amuck!, Aliens: Infestation, Mighty Switch Force, Double Dragon Neon, and DuckTales: Remastered.
