Daedalic Entertainment Releases New Teaser Trailers For Blackguards 2 and Fire

Daedalic Entertainment reveals new teaser for Blackguards 2 and Fire. Read on.

Daedalic Entertainment’s Blackguards are back – better than ever before. In a new teaser we can not only show you first scenes from our upcoming SRPG Blackguards 2. Our development team also listened closely to all the community and press feedback on the games’ successful first installment. Now they’re putting their back into making Blackguards 2 even better than its predecessor. Blackguards 2, which just like the first game is based on the ruleset of The Dark Eye Pen & Paper RPG, will offer players a further improved implementation of the Dark Eye rules and a more comprehensible character generator – but also larger and more demanding battle maps, more interactive items as well as new enemy classes and many new mission, which will require the players’ whole strategic skills.

Ungh, hero of Daedalic Entertainment’s upcoming exploration adventure FIRE, is full of expressive energy. Today the developers publish a teaser introducing the slightly clumsy Neanderthal, who lives in a quaintly colorful Stone Age world. FIRE, the upcoming exploration adventure from Daedalic Entertainment, is all about intuitive game design and tells its hilarious story without words. Players will have to master the trickiest task of the Stone Age: Finding new fire. It is up to the players to explore the primitive world of FIRE and to solve all puzzles in the most creative ways. Always helpful are the quirky creatures of this unique Stone Age setting: Why not using a mammoth and its trunk to shoot a coconut? No matter if mammoths, bats or dinosaurs – FIRE’s colourful Stone Age world is inhabited by all kinds of useful and entertaining wildlife.

Part of that is the slightly clumsy Neanderthal Ungh – he’s the hero of the story. At least if he finds the fire – until then he’s the dopey and unlucky fellow who has let burn out the bonfire of his tribe during his fire watch stint. Now he has to get a new flame and therefore, he has to explore the primitive world to the last corner: Be it a jungle, veldt or the inside of a volcano – no place is safe from Ungh. The urge to explore is set no limits, a click on or a hover over every object triggers a mimic reaction of Ungh of his surroundings – and with a bit of logic players will come closer to the puzzle’s solution. For example, some locations can be visited at day and night – a click on the sun or the moon is enough to change the time of the day, which not only influences the lighting conditions, but also the behaviour of the creatures. Diurnal monsters will sleep at night, others will wake up or show themselves only when it’s dark. FIRE will be released in Q4 2014 for PC and Mac.
