Grey Goo Gets New 'Developer Pre-Release Faceoff - Goo vs Humans' Video

Petroglyph and Grey Box have announced the release of a new gameplay video for Grey Goo. The new video showcases some of the great gameplay mechanics of the RTS for PC with a closer look at advanced weapons and technology for the Human faction. You ready to learn more? Read on.

From the Press Release
Today we wanted to bring to your attention an exciting new look at Petroglyph’s and Grey Box’s upcoming PC RTS Grey Goo. Prior to heading to Gamescom this week, Grey Box took some time and put together a match that highlights the formless, baseless Goo forces going up against the advanced weapons and technology of the Human faction. This early look shows players some of what they can expect when they get their hands on the game, as well as the Goo Epic unit in action for the first time.

Returning to their RTS roots, Petroglyph’s Grey Goo offers vintage RTS gameplay with a focus on what players love about the genre. The game takes the best and most fun aspects of base building, unit management and tense warfare and melds them together in new ways, as players assume command of one of three distinctive factions, while experiencing an immersive sci-fi story that unfolds throughout the game’s single player campaign. Grey Goo breathes new life into the RTS genre by blending classic, established gameplay mechanics and tropes with modern design tools and technology to create a thoughtful, exhilarating strategy experience. Grey Goo will be playable this week at Gamescom, at booth D-061 in Hall #10.
